Explore the Future of Microscopy with Nikon, QATM, and Slee Medical at SCANDEM 2023.
We will be at the Ångström laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden, from June 12th to June 15th, for the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Nordic Microscopy Society, SCANDEM 2023. This highly anticipated event brings together researchers from all around the world to share their latest findings and insights on microscopy, with a particular focus on material science and biology.
Date: 12-15 June 2023
Location: Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala, Sweden
Showcasing Nikon, QATM, and Slee Medical
We will showcase several Nikon microscopes like the fully motorized inverted research model Ti2-E, the upright material microscope LV100ND with both motorized stage and motorized focus and the “workhorse” stereo microscope SMZ800N. In addition we will have the vibratory polisher QPOL VIBRO used for non-destructive (SEM) sample surface preparation and the hardness tester Q60A+, both from QATM as well as the fully motorized microtome CUT6062 from Slee Medical.
The Eclipse Ti2 is Nikon’s flagship and the leading platform for advanced research microscopy. It is a highly flexible platform for live cell microscopy, which has already been awarded the iF Gold Award for design.
The Nikon Eclipse LV-N series is a range of upright microscopes designed for various applications, including material research and industrial use.
The Nikon SMZ800N is a Common Main Objective (CMO) stereomicroscope with zoom optics ranging from 1X to 8X. It is user-friendly and flexible, offering access to multiple objective lenses and accessories.
The Qpol Vibro vibrating polishing device is designed to prepare sample surfaces with minimal deformation. It is ideal for EBSD (electron backscatter diffraction), nanoindentation with AFM (atomic force microscopy), or microhardness testing.
The QATM Qness 60 EVO series takes microhardness testing to a whole new level. This advanced laboratory equipment of the latest generation combines the best of two worlds – hardness testing and microscopy
SLEE’s fully automatic rotary microtome, the CUT 6062, is designed for various applications in routine, research, and industrial settings.
