Masterflex pumps are found in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food and process industries. Applications includevaccine development and production,cleanroom applications requiring Class 5 cleanroom conditions per ISO 14644-1 andwastewater transportation.

Masterflex hose pumps are available in 4 families:

• Masterflex Ismatec microflow pumps with flow rates from 0.1 µl to 365 ml/min
• Masterflex L/S with extremely high accuracy
• Masterflex I/P powerful pumping systems
• Masterflex B/T with flows up to 42 l/min

Common to all families is that the hose pumps are easy to program. Since the liquid to be transported only comes into contact with the hose, the pumps are extremely easy to clean and the risk of leakage is minimal.

For a peristaltic pump to work optimally, the right hose is required. The choice is made based on the fluid to be transported, flow and temperature. To meet these requirements, Masterflex has developed more than 50 different types of tubing, each in several sizes. Many of the hoses can be autoclaved and have the necessary certificates for the pharmaceutical and food industries.

With the right type of hose, even corrosive liquids can be transported without damaging the pump. This is why pumps are also of great value in the chemical process industry.
