About the job

BergmanLabora AB is looking for a service engineer based in the Gothenburg area. We have the opportunity to offer an independent, free and varied work with frequent customer contacts and good development opportunities within the company. You book and plan most of your work under your own responsibility. We travel by the most appropriate means at the time, car, train, bus or plane and we stay at the well-known hotel chains.

As a service engineer with us at BergmanLabora, you will receive regular training in the latest technology on site at our suppliers in Europe. We also have a great knowledge of the products within the company available.

Your tasks

As a service engineer, you will work at our customers in Sweden and to
the greatest extent in the VGR region, with everything from preventive maintenance, troubleshooting,
installations and calibrations. Work is usually done independently but sometimes in
collaboration with colleagues from service, sales departments or suppliers. The service
is based from home or our office in Nääs Fabriker.

  • Service and repair work on customer sites and sometimes in the workshop
  • Installing software on System
  • Sales of consumables and certain instruments
  • Making good contact with the customer
  • Ensure that the equipment we supply works according to the supplier’s
    specifications
  • Performing accredited calibration.
  • Finding solutions and working towards set goals
  • To a large extent independently plan, report, document and execute
    the tasks in an efficient way using our CRM
  • Carry out planned maintenance according to contract
  • Performing emergency services
  • Provide support to customers via phone, email, Teams, Teamviewer etc.
  • Marketing and creating quotes for service and calibration to customers
  • Train customers in basic operation of our systems

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an interest and preferably have experience in the service and repair of medical equipment, and you should have a technical education. IT knowledge is highly valued. With the right attitude and curiosity, you can replace experience if, for example, you have just finished your studies. You are a flexible, responsible and service-oriented person who enjoys meeting customers, is easy to work with and has high social skills.

Experience of working with microscopes or other imaging equipment (where the emphasis of the position will be) is an advantage, as is hardness testing according to Vickers, Rockwell or Brinell.

B driving license and PC experience is a requirement. Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and good knowledge of English.
