Microscopy images without a computer and advanced software

NIS-Elements L is a tablet-based software/controller for Nikon’s Digital Sight 10, Digital Sight 1000 and DS-Fi3 cameras.
You can easily view images and control the settings of the camera without the need for a computer and advanced software.
This tablet comes pre-installed with NIS-L and is easy to connect to your Nikon camera.

Easy to use

Simple menus and intuitive icons for functions such as image capture, saving images and viewing images mean you don’t have to spend time learning advanced software and can focus on working with your images.
You control all camera settings manually or with auto exposure and the images are automatically saved in your folder.
The tablet has touch screen functionality which provides quick and easy control.

Many tools for viewing, measuring and commenting

NIS-L has many display features as well as simple measurement and annotation tools.
You can split the screen to display a live image on the left side of the screen for comparison with a saved image on the right side.
Or the image can be displayed in full screen.
NIS-L supports live images, still images, and video capture, providing flexibility.
You will also see metadata such as camera information, calibration and histograms.
It is also possible to make simple measurements in the image, add scales, and add figures and text to the image.

Streaming function for teaching

The NIS-Elements L-screen can be easily connected to other computers and mobile devices on the same network.
You can easily share what you see through the microscope with, for example, all students in the classroom.
