SPECTRA is a Light Engine fluorescent light where you can quickly switch between 8 different wavelengths and get a total of 400-700mW / wavelength (best in class). SPECTRA uses patented Light Engine technology that delivers higher intensity than conventional LED lights over the entire spectrum 380nm – 750nm.
SPECTRA is controlled via PC either from the supplied SPECTRA GUI software or other software such as NIS-Elements or µManager. Ideal for minimizing phototoxicity and bleaching of fluorochromes. With double/triple filters in the microscope, the ability to switch between excitation wavelengths within 1ms is achieved. Ideal for optogenetics, electrophysiology or timelapse fluorescence applications without the need for external filter wheels.
SPECTRA can be controlled from the NIS Elements software via USB or TTL.

- Broad spectrum – covers UV (DAPI) to nIR region (Cy7)
