The SOLA series are Light Engine fluorescent lights where you can quickly turn on/off and adjust light intensity. The lights use patented Light Engine technology that delivers higher intensity than ordinary LED lights across the entire spectrum 365nm – 760nm.
Controlled via PC software
The SOLA series is controlled via PC either from the included SOLA GUI software or other software such as NIS-Elements or µManager. By avoiding lamp changes, time-consuming lamp centering and heating / cooling time, it is a very environmentally friendly and flexible alternative to Hg lamps.
The SOLA series can be controlled from the NIS-Elements software via USB or TTL.
Light Engine lighting unit SOLA offers:
- High intensity and broad spectrum – covers UV (DAPI) to nIR region (Cy5 (SOLA/SOLA FISH) or Cy7 (SOLA V-nIR /SOLA U-nIR)
- Control via software
Easy to use
- Easily connected directly to the microscope via a light guide
- Instant on/off function – No heating or cooling required
- Stable and repeatable – reliable and consistent results
- Precise intensity control of selected wavelength range in 1% steps (0-100%) – no ND filters required
