Nikon LU-N series
3- or 4-channel singlemode laser illumination for confocal and TIRF microscopy (with excitation 405-640nm) DAPI to Cy5
LU-N3 and LU-N4 are single mode laser boxes for both confocal and TIRF microscopy systems where you can quickly switch between up to 4 different wavelengths and deliver ~15mW/wavelength from the fiber. It uses a patented monolith to combine the laser beams and an AOTF for intensity control.
Cost-effective laser box
LU-N3 and LU-N4 are controlled by Nikon confocal units or via PC from NIS-Elements. A cost-effective and robust laser box for a variety of microscopy applications/modalities. With double/triple filters in the microscope, the ability to switch between excitation wavelengths within 1ms is obtained. Ideal for confocal microscopy, TIRF systems, photoactivation or timelapse fluorescence applications without the need for external filter wheels.
Single mode Laserbox offers:
- 4 different wavelengths (405, 488, 561 and 640 (LU-N4 only))
- Broad spectrum – covers UV (DAPI) to nIR region (Cy5)
- Control via software and TTL
Easy to use
- Easily connected via a 100µm multimode FC/PC optical fiber
- Instant on/off function
- Stable and repeatable – reliable and consistent results
- Precise intensity control of selected wavelength range in 1% steps (0-100%)
