About the job
At BergmanLabora we are now looking for a service technician located in the Stockholm area. We offer an independent and varied job with frequent customer contacts and great development opportunities within the company.
As part of our team, you will work in exciting workshop environments and industries, from car manufacturers and steel mills to research centers and universities. With us, you will be responsible for booking and planning your work independently, with travel that can be by car, train, bus or plane and accommodation in well-known hotel chains.
Your tasks
As a service technician, you will work at our customers in Sweden and to some extent in the other Nordic countries, with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installations and calibrations. Work is usually carried out independently but sometimes in collaboration with colleagues from the service or sales departments or with suppliers. The service is based from home or our office in Danderyd and includes:
- Carry out service and repair work, planned and emergency, at customers’ premises and sometimes in the workshop
- Installing and upgrading software
- Establish and maintain good contact with the customer
- Ensuring that delivered equipment works according to specifications
- Performing accredited calibration.
- Finding solutions and working towards set goals
- Plan, report, document and execute tasks efficiently using our CRM and business system.
- Provide support to customers via Phone, Email, Teams, Teamviewer and more
- Marketing and creating quotes for service and calibration to customers
- Train customers in basic operation of our systems
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have an interest in and preferably have experience in the service and repair of analytical or measuring machines and good IT skills.
You are a flexible, responsible and service-oriented person who enjoys meeting people, works well with others and has good interpersonal skills.
A technical education and experience working with hardness testing, tensile testing or industrial machinery is an advantage.
Requirements when applying:
- B license and PC skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and good knowledge of English.
