Nikon Eclipse Ts2/Ts2-FL

Nikon’s Ts2/Ts2-FL is a compact and stable inverted routine microscope that fits in any lab, and is easy to use with ergonomically placed focus knobs. The microscope can be equipped with optional fluorescence accessories (Ts2-FL).

Nikon’s Ts2/Ts2-FL utilizes Nikon’s industry-leading CFI160 optics with a wide range of lenses and LED illumination for both diascopic and fluorescence illumination. This in combination provides brilliantly clear images leading to more efficient and better observations and images of your cell cultures.

Multiple contrast methods

When looking at living cells and unstained material, the phase contrast technique is normally used to create a high contrast image of thin, transparent material. For slightly thicker specimens (e.g. embryos, algae, eggs), you can also get a 3D-like, morphological image with Nikon’s new Emboss contrast.

Ergonomic and easy to use regardless of technology

If you are working with fluorescence in addition to these techniques, you can quickly switch between illuminations via easily accessible buttons on the front of the microscope. The microscope has space for three built-in LED modules with associated fluorescence filters. The LED illumination that fits the selected filter turns on and off like a regular lamp and does not need to be centered or take time to warm up.

Observation methods

Of course, it is possible to connect a camera to the microscope for easy documentation. Contact us and we will help you find the right model for your needs.
