The Mediajet plate filler offers a unique flexibility for filling Petri dishes and tubes. The intuitive user interface makes it very easy to control all functions from the display.

Typical variations in diameter or shape of the Petri dishes are easily handled by Mediajet, which actively guides the Petri dish throughout the filling process. In addition, Mediajet has optical sensors that automatically adapt virtually every Petri dish on the market to the instrument.
Smart features
Agar Spread Function
Mediajet has a built-in “Agar Spread Function” that guarantees a homogeneous distribution and a uniform surface of agar even at small volumes. This optimizes the agar level in the Petri dish, resulting in a significant reduction of media costs.
Turbo mode – up to 1,100 plates per hour
Integra’s Mediajet plate caster can be equipped with Turbo mode, which increases the capacity of the plate caster from 900 (standard) to 1,100 plates per hour.
Batch Mode
Batch mode is used for applications where it is particularly important to have a flat agar surface, such as resistance plates. In this mode, only every other position in the carousel is filled with any 1-20 bowls. This allows the agar to solidify before the plate is lifted the next time.
