Lumencor CELESTA

7-channel multimode Laser Light Engine illumination for e.g. Spinning Disk confocal microscopy (with excitation 405-750nm) from DAPI to Cy7

CELESTA is a multimode Laser Light Engine fluorescence illuminator that can quickly switch between up to 7 different wavelengths and deliver a total of ~1000mW. It utilizes patented Light Engine technology that delivers high intensity over the entire spectrum 380nm – 750nm.

CELESTA is controlled via PC either from the supplied CELESTA GUI software or other software such as NIS-Elements or µManager. Ideal for minimizing phototoxicity and bleaching of fluorochromes. With double/triple filters in the microscope, the ability to switch between excitation wavelengths within 1ms is achieved. Ideal for confocal microscopy, super-resolution systems, optogenetics, electrophysiology or timelapse fluorescence applications without the need for external filter wheels.

CELESTA can be controlled from the NIS Elements software via USB or TTL.

Multimode Laser Light Engine lighting unit CELESTA offers:

  • 7 different wavelengths (405, 446, 477, 520, 546, 638 and 749)
  • Broad spectrum – covers UV (DAPI) to nIR region (Cy7)
  • Control via software and TTL

Easy to use

  • Easily connected via a 1.5 mm multimode SMA optical fiber
  • Instant on/off function – No heating or cooling required
  • Stable and repeatable – reliable and consistent results
  • Precise intensity control of selected wavelength range in 1% steps (0-100%) – no ND filters required
  • Excellent light dispersion across the field of view – stable and maintenance-free
  • 24-month warranty with long life expectancy
  • No lamp replacements or consumables
