Hard-hitting optical performance and flexibility
The Nikon SMZ1270/-i is an advanced stereo microscope with an extended zoom range from 0.63x to 8x, superb optics and intelligent imaging functions. The SMZ1270i can be connected to a PC via USB and automatically provides information to the software about the selected magnification and thus correct calibration.
With its large zoom ratio of 12.7X, the 1X objective and 10X eyepiece give a field of view of 35 mm, allowing observation of an entire petri dish, for example, but at the same time magnification up to 80X (field of view 2.75 mm). Newly developed Plan Apo WF and ED Plan WF lenses provide clearer and sharper images and are also available with 0.5X, 1.5X and 2X magnifications. Together, this gives a possible magnification range from 3.15X to 480X (30X eyepiece).
Ergonomic eyepiece tubes with adjustable viewing angle ensure good ergonomics when sitting for long periods at the microscope, and the integrated camera output allows any camera to be connected. The SMZ1270/-i can also be equipped with fluorescence. There are several different table stands to choose from, both with and without integrated under-lighting. Lighting is a very important part of a stereo microscope and in addition to stands with under-lighting, we have both spot and ring lighting in the range to adapt the microscope to your particular application.
