The compact Qpol 300 BOT, designed and developed by QATM, fully automates the grinding and polishing aspects of the sample preparation process, including cleaning and drying.

The Qpol 300 BOT ensures that each sample is processed correctly, guaranteeing reproducible results and more space for sample analysis.
Within the robust aluminum housing, it is possible to install 4 to 8 system workstations.
Up to 11 different operations can be programmed and sequenced for a given application.
Options include pre-sanding, sanding and polishing, and cleaning and drying in any combination.
The Qpol 300 BOT automatically proceeds from one step to the next, eliminating the manual, time-consuming task of cleaning each sample holder between steps.
The Qpol 300 BOT is designed with stations for complete materialographic operations from surface grinding to intermediate steps and final polishing.
All stations are integrated into the system.
The grinding and polishing wheels are attached to the work wheels by means of a vacuum (Vacu-Jet System) or magnetic wheel system.
Each station can be configured for specific abrasive requirements.
Water, diamond suspensions, diamond lubricants and oxide dispensing are fully integrated.
Grinding and polishing stations can also include fully automatic protective hoods to maintain a clean working environment.
