Karl Kap’s SOM® 62 manual examination microscopes are designed in a modular system that offers versatile equipment options, individually tailored to your requirement profile.

With a parfocal 5-stage magnification changer (1:6 zoom) and APO f = 200 mm objective, you get the optimal trade-off of working distance, magnification and resolution for many examination and surgical applications.

The microscope has a modular design and can be equipped with a standard 45° eyepiece tube, an adjustable eyepiece tube, a discussion tube and a camera output (C or F mount) with 10x or 12.5x eyepieces.

The SOM® 62 is equipped with a stable and compact floor stand. The floor stand has a balanced microscope suspension with ergonomic swivel arm and integrated LED coaxial illumination.

The microscope is attached to the floor stand with manual or motorized 40 mm fine focus.
